Description of Role:
The GIS Analyst will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of AMSA’s 24/7 GIS environment and geospatial data assets to ensure the organisation has the IT platforms and data necessary to achieve its goals and objectives.
You will be responsible for:
Providing operational GIS support for AMSA’s business areas including mission critical business functions within the Response Division, using your analysis, mapping, and visualisation skills
Assisting the Enterprise GIS Administrator to maintain AMSA’s spatial assets including, enterprise geospatial database, online GIS servers and published spatial products
Support System administration and operation of the GIS
Providing geospatial analytic services as requested by AMSA business units and external clients
Producing and supplying material for publication, demonstrations, displays and legal briefings
Provide support for AMSAs Digital Image Media system
