Day 1 at AFAC 2024 has come and gone and what a great day it was. Catching up with old collegues, talking to delegates and most importantly showcasing how GIS and Geospatial information is key to effective and evidence based decision making in Australia.
One of the highlights of the day was undoubtably the discussions with Agencies who are new and emerging in the Emergency Management GIS environment. We were able to link up many delegates with not only software from esri Australia but also data from both State and Federal sources. A few of these sources is the National Bushfire Intelligence Capability and also Digital Atlas of Australia; both big contributors of data into the Australian Emergency Management Sector.
Day 2: EMSINA, esri Australia, National Bushfire Intelligence Capability and Digital Atlas of Australia will be at the trade booth from 0930 until late.
