The Australian Bureau of Statistics is seeking Geospatial Specialists (APS5, APS6 and EL1 classification levels) to help us respond to the growing demand for more granular, place-based socio-economic data. Our geospatial work program supports data-driven responses to some of Australia’s most pressing challenges, including climate change, entrenched disadvantage and population growth.
Geospatial Specialists may be Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Managers and other data professionals who specialise in working with geospatial information.
Work flexibly from one of our Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne or Hobart locations for a team that values curiosity, passion, creativity and innovation in the way things are done.
